Kate's journey with self discovery, body awareness and living boldly began at a young age. Being diagnosed at nine months with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a noncommunicable chronic illness that greatly impairs lungs, pancreas, liver, kidneys and intestine functions. Kate's perspective has always been on the greater meaning of life and well-being. It was from her never-ending battle with CF that Kate gained her grit, tenacity, vivacious spirit and passion for living life to its fullest while assisting others' in their journey to do the same. Kate has always taken a humanitarian approach to life believing that her personal purpose is to help others gain strength and empowerment. This led her to discover the methods and practices of personal development (becoming a self proclaimed self-help junkie), navigating the purpose and meaning of life along with navigating how to pursue a life driven by passion.

Her career in fitness began first as an athlete and student, playing varsity mens ice hockey in native Northern Maine. It was through meeting with a team of strength and conditioning coaches over a span of multiple years that Kate's passion for fitness was sparked. She continued fitness as a passionate hobby, often studying it to gain a better understanding of the struggles and imbalances she herself experienced due to the challenges of CF. This led to seeking formal education and certification, shifting her career to fitness training and life transformation coaching. Her passionate focus is helping people gain deeper understanding of their bodies by aiding aches and pains, limited range of motion and recover from trauma allowing them to take back control of their life.
